How long will a Full Service take?

A full service usually takes 2 to 3 hours depending on the vehicle make and model. We do not offer a specific slot for our Services and we do recommend dropping the vehicle off at either 8:30am or 11:30am and leaving the vehicle at your local centre.Our service technicians will contact you when your car is ready to collect or provide you with a quote if any further work needs carrying out.

What is difference between the Service Packages?

At Service My Vehicle, we provide four distinct service options tailored to your vehicle's specific needs based on factors such as mileage, age, make, model, engine size, and annual mileage. 1) Oil & Oil filter change: Entry-Level Service includes a basic 17 point health inspection along with an oil and oil filter change. Interim Service: A comprehensive 63-point check, including an oil and oil filter change, is conducted for cars or vans that have covered 6,000 miles or every 6 months. 2) Full Service: An extensive 88-point check, encompassing oil, oil filter, and air filter changes, is performed after the vehicle reaches 12,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever comes first. 3) Manufacturers Service: This customised option aligns with your vehicle's make, age, and mileage, following the manufacturer's servicing schedules. It is recommended for vehicles with specific requirements beyond our full service package.We stamp your vehicle service book and reset the service indicator, and all our services come with a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty*.

What's the difference between MOT & Servicing?

The distinction between MOT (Ministry of Transport) testing and servicing lies in their primary purposes and scope of inspection. An MOT test is a legal requirement. In the UK, vehicles over 3 years old must undergo an annual MOT test. The MOT test ensures that the vehicle meets the minimum government standards for roadworthiness, safety, and emission levels.Wheres as, Servicing is a routine maintenance procedure aimed at optimising the performance and longevity of the vehicle. Unlike the MOT test, servicing involves a replacement of various components, including oil, filters (oil, air, fuel, pollen cabin), and other vital parts.Both are essential for ensuring the safety, performance, and longevity of a vehicle.

When is my MOT due?

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, Australia and the UK. To enquire about shipping to a different destination, please contact us.

My vehicle is not listed when attempting an online booking. What should I do?

Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Next day shipping is available on all domestic orders (for an additional charge). International shipping times depend on the products and destination (estimated at checkout).

I booked and paid online and now wish to cancel, how can I arrange this?

Items must be returned within 30 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unworn/unused, have any tags still attached, and include all the original packaging.

What happens if my car fails its MOT check?

Refunds are processed within 7 days from when we receive the item(s).
