How long will a Hybrid Service take?

Hybrid servicing is usually carried out on a dealer-based service schedule. Our technicians carry out a dealer-based service depending on the mileage and age of the vehicle, however every car has different time schedules. 

We do not offer a specific slot for our Services and we do recommend dropping the vehicle off at either 8:30am or 11:30am and leaving the vehicle at your local centre.

Our service technicians will contact you when your car is ready to collect or provide you with a quote if any further work needs carrying out.

What is difference between the Hybrid Service Packages?

At Service My Vehicle, we provide 2 distinct hybrid service options tailored to your vehicle's specific needs based on factors such as mileage, age, make, model, engine size, and annual mileage. On top of our standard checks - we undertaken further hybrid specific checks deepening on your vehicle make, model, year and mileage. A print out of these checks will provided on check out. 

Interim Service: A comprehensive 63-point check, including an oil and oil filter change, is conducted for cars or vans that have covered 6,000 miles or every 6 months.

Full Service: An extensive 88-point check, encompassing oil, oil filter, and air filter changes, is performed after the vehicle reaches 12,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever comes first.

We stamp your vehicle service book and reset the service indicator, and all our services come with a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty*.

What's the difference between MOT & Hybrid Servicing?

The distinction between MOT (Ministry of Transport) testing and servicing lies in their primary purposes and scope of inspection. An MOT test is a legal requirement. In the UK, vehicles over 3 years old must undergo an annual MOT test. The MOT test ensures that the vehicle meets the minimum government standards for roadworthiness, safety, and emission levels.

Wheres as, Servicing is a routine maintenance procedure aimed at optimising the performance and longevity of the vehicle. Unlike the MOT test, servicing involves a replacement of various components, including oil, filters (oil, air, fuel, pollen cabin), and other vital parts.

Both are essential for ensuring the safety, performance, and longevity of a vehicle.

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, Australia and the UK. To enquire about shipping to a different destination, please contact us.

My vehicle is not listed when attempting an online booking. What should I do?

Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Next day shipping is available on all domestic orders (for an additional charge). International shipping times depend on the products and destination (estimated at checkout).

I booked and paid online and now wish to cancel, how can I arrange this?

Items must be returned within 30 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unworn/unused, have any tags still attached, and include all the original packaging.

What happens if my car fails its MOT check?

Refunds are processed within 7 days from when we receive the item(s).
